Description

Colombia bikelife leads the world in raw talent, trick innovation and ultimately Instagram hits. There is one rider who stands out way above the rest and has done so consistently for many years: “La Plaga”. The King of pedal Bikelife. The inventor of a multitude of tricks, emulated globally by up and coming riders.
It should really come as no surprise, that the first ever signature Bikelife frame to hit the market falls to the greatest rider of all time and is built by the most innovative Bikelife company in the game.
Introducing LP, a hydroformed 6061 t6 heat treated alloy frame designed specifically for Colombian style riding, featuring La Plaga’s own geometry, developed entirely by him to help push riding to new extreme levels.
It took a full 2 years to design and develop this frame, passing through many iterations, geometry changes, tweaks and finally finishing up with what we consider as styling perfection.
We pulled out all the stops for this one. The frame can can run with 26” wheels through to 29” thanks to the sliding rear drop outs with built in chain tensioners. It can be run as single speed, geared or fixed. You can build it with rigid forks, or suspension, MTB bars or BMX/Cruiser. This really is the ultimate frame designed to suit all builds.
Another key new feature is that the pegs are run bolted through the specially designed frame drop outs providing a robust durable platform that will take a serious beating.
Other key features such as our drop forged yoke, CNC machined hangers and dropouts, reinforced brake and mech carriers (replaceable), tapered heavy duty stays, tapered head tube and internal cable routing mean this is jam-packed with ALL the technology.
The best rider deserved the best frame and we’re pretty sure we have delivered.
